We are seeking a skilled AWS Service Desk Engineer to provide expert support for cloud infrastructure in a fast-paced, 24x7 environment. In this role, you will manage incidents, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the reliability of cloud services. You will collaborate with a global operations team, administer monitoring tools, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position is fully remote in India and offers flexible scheduling, including night and weekend shifts. You will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining high service standards, and implementing best practices for cloud operations. The role combines technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset to support mission-critical AWS environments.. . Accountabilities. Triage, manage, and resolve service desk tickets and incidents promptly, ensuring SLA adherence.. Provide first-call resolution for customer-reported issues and alerts, escalating complex issues to senior architects when necessary.. Administer monitoring tools such as New Relic, CrowdStrike, and BigPanda to detect and respond to operational alerts.. Perform routine cloud operations including access management, application restarts, instance resizing, provisioning new AWS resources, backups, and patching.. Maintain comprehensive documentation, run-books, and knowledge-base entries to support operational efficiency.. Deliver exceptional customer support, manage expectations, and advocate for customer success.. Participate in post-incident reviews and contribute to continuous process and workflow improvements.. Hands-on experience managing AWS cloud workloads, including EC2, RDS, VPC, and CloudWatch.. Foundational Linux and Windows system administration skills.. Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric approach.. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.. AWS Associate Certification (to be obtained within 90 days of hire).. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English..
