Sales Development Representative - Southern California at Planar Systems. What you'll do: . Our company is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to help us grow our business in the audio-visual (AV) industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and maintaining our showroom presence in Costa Mesa, CA. Desire to educate customers on display technology, in a showroom, office, or job site location.. Identify & develop new business opportunities. This will be accomplished by reaching out to potential clients, attending industry events, and participating in networking opportunities.. Drive business impact by conducting lead generation and innovative campaigns to attract customers.. Ensuring all business development activities are coordinated and executed in a timely manner.. Grow existing accounts clients by providing excellent customer service and offering new products and services.. Maintain CRM for contact details and to support pipeline management.. Collaborate with the sales team to create and implement sales strategies that align with company goals.. Work closely with the marketing team to create marketing materials and promotional campaigns that promote our products and services.. Manage the showroom and ensure that it is presentable, stocked, and up to date with the latest AV technology.. Meet corporate and sales objectives.. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.. What you'll bring: . . . Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field highly preferred . 2+ years of sales or business development experience required, preferably in the AV or other Technical Industry. Professional and consultative approach with strong interpersonal skills. High energy, sense of urgency. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with AV technology and industry trends. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
