We are currently looking for a Senior Director, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) in New York (USA).. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and drive the strategic vision for health economics and outcomes research across the product lifecycle. You will lead efforts to generate compelling real-world evidence and economic data that support market access, reimbursement, and stakeholder engagement. Working at the intersection of clinical development, commercial, and medical affairs teams, you will influence decision-making and ensure that products demonstrate meaningful value to patients, payers, and healthcare providers. The role demands a collaborative, innovative leader comfortable in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.. Accountabilities:. . Develop and execute HEOR strategies and evidence generation plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams to address clinical and payer needs.. . Lead observational research, economic modeling, patient-reported outcomes studies, and real-world evidence initiatives to support value propositions.. . Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial, and external partners to optimize evidence dissemination and product positioning.. . Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations while overseeing study design, protocol development, budget management, and timelines.. . Provide expert input on HEOR endpoints in clinical trials and contribute to health economic dossier development for global markets.. . Represent the organization at scientific meetings, advisory boards, and in interactions with thought leaders and payers.. . Ensure compliance with corporate policies and relevant healthcare laws and regulations.. . . Advanced degree (MSc, MPH, PhD, PharmD, MD) in health economics, epidemiology, health outcomes research, or related field.. . Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical or life sciences HEOR experience, preferably with neuroscience exposure.. . Proven expertise in real-world evidence study design, execution, and communication.. . Deep understanding of observational research methods, regulatory standards, and health economic modeling techniques.. . Experience with clinical datasets including EHRs, claims, registries, and patient-reported data.. . Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.. . Ability to influence senior leaders and work effectively in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.. . On-site presence required at least three days per week in New York; remote-only candidates will not be considered.. . Experience in reimbursement and market access environments and budget management.. . Strategic mindset with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.. .
