Technical Writer. to support the development of secure, compliant, and user-centered documentation for a modern, cloud-based application ecosystem. This role will produce and maintain high-value documentation across Salesforce, MuleSoft, and Tableau platforms, with a focus on supporting offline workflows (via Pulsar), ATO-related artifacts, and user onboarding content. The ideal candidate has experience working in or with DHS agencies and understands the nuances of documenting low-code enterprise systems in regulated environments.. Responsibilities:. Author and maintain system documentation such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), release notes, and user manuals. . Translate complex technical processes, data flows, and APIs into clear documentation aligned with FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 standards. . Support content development for public-facing portals and internal teams using Salesforce Experience Cloud and Pulsar for offline access. . Document end-to-end integration patterns involving MuleSoft APIs and Tableau-based reporting. . Collaborate with delivery, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and version control across living documents. . Location: . This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.. 3+ years of technical writing experience, supporting cloud-based or SaaS programs for federal agencies. . Familiarity with Salesforce platform structure, user roles, and metadata configuration. . Experience supporting DHS (e.g., TSA, CBP, USCIS, ICE) or other Civilian GovCon clients in regulated environments. . Strong grasp of documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, Markdown), versioning, and 508 compliance standards. . Bachelor’s degree required. . Preferred:. Experience documenting Salesforce solutions with offline tools such as Pulsar. . Familiarity with MuleSoft integration flows, and Tableau dashboard structures. . . Involvement in documenting low-code platforms or ATO packages in IL2+/FedRAMP environments. . . Salesforce Associate or Business Analyst Certification . .
