Ensure all work papers and supporting documentation are complete, accurate, and compliant. Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting or tax compliance roles. Working knowledge and familiarity with Australian tax, including business, trust, and individual tax returns.. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and Word (Apple/Mac systems are not used in the firm). Advanced experience using Xero accounting software. Experience with Xero Practice Manager, particularly for WIP (Work in Progress) tracking and timesheets. Strong hands-on experience in FBT, particularly motor vehicle and entertainment benefits. Working knowledge of Div 7A, including ability to identify applicability and prepare supporting workpapers. Experience in providing comprehensive tax planning services. Experience reviewing and mentoring junior staff. Strong client communication skills with the ability to work independently.
