As a Sales Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping businesses optimize energy usage and achieve sustainability goals. You will work closely with sales teams and clients to assess opportunities, design tailored energy-saving solutions, and present proposals that maximize ROI. This role combines technical expertise with consultative sales support, requiring strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving, and effective communication. You will evaluate commercial energy systems, lead site surveys, and provide insights that drive impactful, cost-effective solutions. Travel is required to engage directly with clients and support project implementation. Your work will contribute to measurable environmental impact while ensuring client satisfaction and business growth.. Accountabilities:. . Assess commercial energy systems including LED, HVAC/R, refrigeration, water, gas, and renewable energy to identify savings opportunities.. . Collaborate with sales teams to qualify opportunities, conduct discovery sessions, and generate customized proposals.. . Conduct site surveys, analyze utility data, and evaluate the feasibility of system upgrades.. . Perform financial analyses using ROI and cost-savings models to guide customer decisions.. . Interface with internal teams, including product development and operations, to provide feedback and improve solutions.. . Participate in customer meetings throughout the sales cycle to present solutions and recommendations.. . Continuously refine estimation models based on post-installation reviews and project outcomes.. . . Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.. . 3+ years of sales support or installation experience in LED, HVAC, or refrigeration systems.. . Knowledge of energy systems, including lighting, HVAC/R, refrigeration, water, gas, and telephony.. . Experience in renewable energy solutions, including solar.. . Ability to conduct commercial energy or equipment audits.. . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.. . Excellent interpersonal, oral, written, and presentation skills.. . Self-motivated, able to work independently and remotely.. . Willingness to travel 25–50% for client engagements.. . Creative thinker with a passion for energy savings and sustainability.
