We are looking for a Legal Intern to support our Compliance team with legal research, contract review assistance, and administrative support. This is a remote, part-time internship, ideal for law students or recent graduates based in China and fluent in Simplified Chinese and English.. Responsibilities. . Ensure compliance with all relevant employment and contract laws in the regions needed.. . Draft and review contracts for clients and vendors, ensuring legal accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.. . Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote and ensure compliance with legal requirements.. . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct internal audits and assessments to identify and address potential compliance risks.. . Conduct training sessions for employees to enhance awareness of compliance issues and requirements.. . Investigate and respond to compliance-related concerns, including coordinating with legal counsel when necessary.. . Lead the Compliance team, providing guidance and directions.. . . Law student or recent graduate, ideally with coursework in contract law or employment law. . . Strong attention to detail and interest in international business law. . . Native-level proficiency in Simplified Chinese and strong English communication skills are required. Ability to understand and support legal drafting in both languages preferred.. . Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality. . . Prior internship or part-time experience in legal settings is a plus.. . . Proactive approach to staying informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.. . Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders to drive compliance initiatives.. . Previous experience working remotely is a plus. .
