As a DCA Digital Physiotherapist, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients to assess, diagnose, and manage a diverse range of musculoskeletal and complex conditions, providing tailored treatment plans, and referrals as needed. What we are looking for:. Digital Physiotherapist who are able to commit to a . minimum of 16 hours a week. to provide virtual consultations via our intuitive platform, delivering high quality care to our patients. . Salaried Sessions: . We offer fixed shifts and sessions (. minimum of 16 hours a week) . that can be divided throughout the week based on your preferred hours between 8am - 8pm, along with optional additional 'ad-hoc' shifts.. Annual salary based on 40 hours FTE: £49,000. Key accountabilities/ responsibilities: . Conduct comprehensive remote physiotherapy assessments and treatment sessions via our digital platform, ensuring a seamless patient experience. Assess and diagnose a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, provide evidence-based treatment strategies, and guide patients through rehabilitation programs . . Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including consultation notes and referrals, ensuring compliance with DCA policies and protocols, clinical governance and data protection standards. . . Signposting patients to the most appropriate services or care settings . . Work closely within a large, multidisciplinary team that includes GPs, ACPs and non-clinical professionals to provide integrated patient care. . Adhere to DCA’s regulatory standards, clinical guidelines, and best practices to ensure the highest standard of care in a digital healthcare environment . . Implement provisions related to Mental Health Legislation (Mental Health Act 2007, Mental Capacity Act 2005) in accordance with legislative requirements, Codes of Practice, and national guidance. . Identifying potential vulnerable patients, recognizing signs of abuse or neglect, and completing safeguarding referrals in accordance with local and national policies . Experience/Education. . HCPC Registered Physiotherapist . . Minimum of three years experience in Physiotherapy within an MSK service in Primary Care or General Practice, working at Level 7 or above . . Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner qualification (. desirable. ) . . Experience conducting remote patient assessments (phone and video) . . Independent non-medical prescribing qualification (. Desirable). . . Valid IR(ME)R certificate valid within the last 3 years . . Knowledge and skills. . Up-to-date knowledge of national prescribing policies and guidelines, and an understanding of working within the scope of professional practice.(. Desirable). . . Knowledge of clinical governance principles as applied to remote working and digital healthcare.(. Desirable). . . Proficiency with clinical IT systems (ideally with Jira and Teams/Slack). .
