The position is fully remote, with occasional travel up to three times per year for key strategic meetings and training events.. . Accountabilities. ·         Develop, implement, and manage enterprise-wide data privacy and governance programs aligned with global regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).. ·         Serve as a key liaison between leadership, IT, Legal, Risk Management, and operational teams to ensure data privacy best practices.. ·         Oversee privacy incident response and investigations, ensuring timely reporting and risk mitigation.. ·         Establish compliance controls and monitor adherence through audits and assessments.. ·         Provide expert guidance on data collection, storage, and sharing practices to ensure legal and policy compliance.. ·         Conduct and manage privacy impact assessments and data subject access requests.. ·         Deliver company-wide training and awareness programs on data privacy and security.. ·         Support vendor risk management efforts, assessing data protection measures of third-party providers.. ·         Serve as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) or Privacy Officer, engaging with regulators as needed.. ·         Act as the subject matter expert for privacy-related technologies and frameworks, ensuring continuous program improvement.. ·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Law, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.. ·         Minimum . 5 years. of progressive experience managing data privacy and governance within large organizations.. ·         In-depth knowledge of international and domestic privacy laws and regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, PIPEDA, CAN-SPAM, etc.).. ·         Proven ability to develop policies and procedures that align business objectives with compliance requirements.. ·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing regulations.. ·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey the importance of data privacy across all levels.. ·         Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and build trust.. ·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience preparing high-quality reports and presentations.. ·         Demonstrated impartiality and integrity in addressing compliance issues.. .
