The Staff Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the brand’s day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close processes. This role will be the primary point of contact for internal teams on day-to-day accounting-related needs and will take ownership of accounts payable, reconciliations, and general ledger activity. What you’ll do:. Oversee accounts payable and vendor management, ensuring all payment requests are accurate, appropriate, and properly reviewed. Manage substantially all month-end close accounting processes, including recording assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses in the correct periods. Prepare and maintain balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations. Ensure consistent and accurate transaction coding across all accounts. Support process improvements to streamline and expedite the month-end close. Serve as the day-to-day accounting contact for cross-functional partners across the organization. Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and analyses as the business grows. Bonus points if you have:. Experience working in a retail, fashion, or consumer goods company. A CPA license or are actively working toward one. You are a perfect fit if you have:. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Approximately 2 years of accounting experience in a similar company or environment. Hands-on experience beyond basic A/P or A/R, such as prepaids, revenue, payroll-related entries, or accruals.
