Membership Coordinator at City Cast. We’re looking for an experienced membership coordinator to lead the operational execution of membership campaigns across our network of local podcasts and newsletters. This role requires an emphasis on storytelling and strong project management — turning creative messaging into cohesive, high-performing campaigns that resonate with our audiences and convert listeners and readers into members. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, can write clean and compelling copy across multiple platforms and works well across teams.. Application Deadline: February 17, 2025. Key Responsibilities:. Membership campaigns . Partner with the membership manager to ideate and develop creative ways to grow membership during large, cross network campaigns. Serve as the project manager for membership campaigns by providing robust campaign materials and guidance to city teams before, during and after major campaigns.. Write high-quality messaging and CTAs across channels, including:. Eblast and newsletter messaging. Podcast scripts. Dynamic social media posts. Website and landing page messaging. House ads . Manage timelines, assets and materials to ensure campaigns launch on time and run smoothly.. Build and schedule emails and house ads across the podcast, newsletter and website. Monitor campaign performance and make real-time adjustments to improve results.. Synthesize learnings and share clear takeaways to inform future membership campaigns.. Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders across several departments.. Use data and key metrics to optimize campaign performance. Membership Admin. Oversee and continuously optimize lifecycle communications to ensure relevance, accuracy, and performance. . Advise city teams on custom membership conversion strategies and one off initiatives . Work with the membership manager to create and implement conversion strategies to increase member acquisition between cross-network campaigns.  . Manage rotating calendar of membership house ads across each city . Maintain clear documentation so key stakeholders can collaborate on membership efforts . Preferred Qualifications . Deep understanding of why people become members and supporters of local media organizations.. Experience coordinating membership and/or marketing campaigns at a media company.. Excellent copywriting skills with experience adapting tone and voice across platforms.. Excellent project management and organizational skills.. Comfort with basic graphic design tools and/or collaborating closely on visuals is a plus. Data-informed mindset — able to interpret metrics and apply insights.. Confidence building trust and communicating in a remote-first work environment . Passion for local media and community building. Demonstrated experience writing compelling membership copy . Demonstrated ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously with minimal oversight. Required:. 2+ years of working on marketing, membership or subscriptions . Company Location: United States.
