In this role, you will partner with engineering teams across the organization to influence product architecture, implement threat models, and scale security initiatives. You will act as a security subject matter expert, mentoring peers and providing guidance to ensure secure practices across applications and infrastructure. Collaborate with engineering teams to design secure-by-default solutions and integrate security into early-stage product design.. Lead threat modeling sessions, balancing security requirements with product usability and advancement.. Scale security efforts through automation, tooling, guidance, and training across multiple teams.. Drive high-impact, cross-functional security initiatives to reduce organizational risk.. Mentor teammates and other engineers on security best practices, frameworks, and processes.. Develop and maintain deep knowledge of security primitives, frameworks, and invariants to inform product decisions.. . 8+ years of experience in security engineering or a related field.. Strong applied knowledge across application and infrastructure security, including cloud environments.. Ability to think creatively, holistically, and like an attacker to identify and mitigate security risks.. Excellent communication, empathy, and collaboration skills for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.. Experience in threat modeling, security guidance, and scaling security practices across multiple teams.. Learning mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations and drive clear next steps..
