This role is responsible for managing . patient scheduling, insurance coordination, and surgical workflows. , while ensuring a seamless patient experience from initial contact through procedure and follow-up.. You will play a key role in . guiding patients toward treatment and procedures. , requiring strong communication, attention to detail, and confidence handling sensitive medical situations.. Key Responsibilities. Patient Scheduling & Coordination. Manage . inbound and outbound calls. with patients . Schedule appointments, procedures, and follow-ups . Coordinate . telemedicine visits. . Proactively follow up with patients to . move them toward surgery or procedures. . Front Desk & Patient Intake. Perform virtual check-in and patient registration . Ensure all patient information is accurate and updated in the EMR . Provide a smooth, professional, and empathetic patient experience . Insurance & Documentation. Work with . insurance portals. to verify eligibility and benefits . Handle required documentation for approvals and procedures . Assist with basic . billing and credentialing support. . Surgical & Clinical Coordination. Coordinate with . surgeons, providers, and care teams. . Assist with . procedure scheduling and preparation. . Manage coordination related to . DME (Durable Medical Equipment). . Systems & Tools. Use EMR systems (currently . Jane. , transitioning to a new system) . Maintain accurate records and documentation . Adapt quickly to new platforms and workflows. Qualifications. Experience as a . Medical VA, Patient Coordinator, or Medical Receptionist. . Strong background in . insurance verification and portal usage. . Experience with . scheduling, follow-ups, and patient communication. . Familiarity with . surgical coordination and/or DME processes. . . Oncology experience (preferred but not required). . Experience in . rehab, specialty care, or similar medical fields (a plus). . Comfortable handling . inbound/outbound calls in a fast-paced environment. . Strong communication skills with a . clear, professional tone. . What We’re Looking For.
