Bookkeeper (Project-Based) at Hireframe. We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support a short-term, project-based assignment. This role involves a mix of bookkeeping and data entry tasks, including payroll and tax-related inputs, and is ideal for someone comfortable with cloud-based systems and financial data management.. Responsibilities . . Assist the primary accountant with daily bookkeeping and transaction categorization. . Perform data entry related to tax prep, payroll, and accounting up to the first-level review stage. . Support bank reconciliation and general ledger updates. . Enter financial transactions in QuickBooks Online under supervision. . Maintain organized electronic records and digital filing systems. . Collaborate with the Team Lead, Manager, and Accountant to document workflows and contribute to the development of standardized procedures (e.g., continuity binder). . Provide regular task updates and coordinate effectively with the accounting team. . . Associate’s degree or certificate in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field. . At least 1 year of experience using QuickBooks Online. . High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. . Basic understanding of accounting principles and processes. . Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Excel/Word, and cloud-based tools (e.g., Canopy Tax). . Stable internet connection and a professional remote work environment. .
