The Project Director will cultivate strong relationships with sponsors and stakeholders while overseeing project planning, staffing, and budgeting. This position involves mentoring Clinical Project Managers, monitoring third-party agreements, and supporting business development activities such as proposals and bid defenses. Accountabilities. The Project Director will be responsible for:. . Acting as the primary regional representative for precision medicine projects, ensuring projects meet sponsor expectations, regulatory guidelines, quality, and budget requirements.. . Establishing and maintaining high-quality client relationships, keeping sponsors informed on progress, risks, issues, and evolving needs.. . Overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery with Clinical Project Managers and functional teams, ensuring adherence to corporate standards.. . Reviewing and approving project scope, budgets, metrics, recruitment, training, and tools to ensure all elements are realistic, compliant, and executable.. . Monitoring project critical paths, providing guidance to Clinical Project Managers, and ensuring consistent high-quality service from internal and external stakeholders.. . Leading communications with project teams and stakeholders to ensure roles, responsibilities, progress, and methodology changes are clearly understood.. . Managing unit resources, including staffing, performance evaluation, hiring, training, and development, to ensure projects are appropriately resourced.. . . Candidates should have:. . A minimum of seven years of relevant clinical research experience, with ongoing professional development.. . A three-year College Advanced Diploma or Degree in Health Sciences, Clinical Research, or a related field.. . Experience in molecular biology and running clinical translational studies.. .
