As a Data Developer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and systems that drive business-critical analytics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to onboard new client data, optimize ETL workflows, and support both operational and strategic data initiatives. This role involves leveraging modern Python and database technologies to ensure high-quality, reliable, and actionable data across the organization. You will contribute to both backend development and data engineering processes while improving internal documentation, resolving production issues, and supporting team-wide knowledge sharing. Accountabilities. · Design, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines using Python to efficiently onboard client data.. · Build, support, and optimize the Snowflake data platform and related workflows.. · Collaborate with the data team to integrate new data sources into the MySQL application database.. · Assist in troubleshooting production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.. · Improve and maintain internal documentation for data processes and technical solutions.. · Contribute to code quality through thoughtful development practices and participation in code reviews.. · Support team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and process improvements across projects.. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.. · 5+ years of experience with Python 3.x and relevant packages such as Pandas, NumPy, Boto3, and SQLAlchemy.. · 5+ years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases.. · Familiarity with server-side API frameworks such as REST is a plus.. · Experience with Python packages for data science and visualization (Scikit-Learn, SciPy, Matplotlib, PyTorch) is desirable.. · Knowledge of financial data domains, including trades, positions, instruments, issuers, and pricing, is a plus.. · Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.. · Commitment to clean, maintainable, and consistent code practices, including participation in Git workflows and code reviews..
