As an Event & Community Sales Associate, you are the first line of connection for guests, families, schools, and corporate clients looking to celebrate with us. This remote role is designed for a highly motivated, organized, and fearless communicator who thrives on turning inquiries into bookings and building relationships through calls, research, and hospitality-driven service.. Working Saturday–Wednesday, 2pm–10pm EST, you manage inbound event inquiries, handle outbound sales calls, and ensure smooth conversion of leads into group sales, field trips, birthdays, and corporate events. You will also dedicate at least 10 hours per week to cold calling and outreach, while supporting sales operations through research, AI-powered copywriting, and meticulous follow-up.. This is a perfect role for someone who loves sales, believes in the “yes” hospitality mindset, and isn’t afraid to pick up the phone to make connections. Spanish-speaking fluency is a strong plus.. Key Responsibilities. Inbound & Outbound Sales. Respond quickly and professionally to inbound event inquiries via email, phone, and messaging platforms. Pass inbound inquiries to sales reps once interest is vetted. . Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients, including schools, companies, and private event organizers.. Dedicate at least 10 hours per week to cold calling and lead generation.. Schedule and conduct virtual sales calls, presenting tailored event packages (birthdays, team building, buyouts, private parties).. Maintain a high standard of hospitality in all communications to ensure guests feel valued and excited.. Event & Booking Coordination. Work closely with the events team to ensure smooth handoff from sales to operations.. Coordinate booking details with accuracy and clear documentation.. Anticipate client needs and deliver a seamless, joyful event planning experience.. Performance & Tracking. Track all activity, outreach, and conversions in assigned systems (CRM, spreadsheets, or dashboards).. Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets.. Provide weekly updates on pipeline activity, outreach efforts, and conversion results.. Lead Generation & Research. Research and identify new leads across corporate, educational, and tourism verticals.. Use AI tools to support research, draft outreach emails, and polish client-facing communication.. Build and manage a pipeline of prospects, tracking progress and conversions systematically.. Support group sales efforts for field trips, after-school programs, and community-based groups.. Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.. Strong sales presence and no fear of cold calling or speaking on the phone.. At least 2 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, events, or hospitality.. Ability to work independently and stay highly organized with methodical tracking.. Strong writing and editing skills, with comfort using AI tools to accelerate research and communication.. Availability to work Saturday–Wednesday, 2pm–10pm EST.. A hospitality-driven “yes” attitude with the ability to create joyful client interactions.. Nice-to-Haves. Spanish fluency or multilingual skills.. Experience selling birthday parties, group packages, or private events.. Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).. Background in attractions, tourism, hospitality, or event management.. Demonstrated ability to exceed outbound sales or call quotas.. Compensation.
