Senior Level Designer (Remote - US) at Jobgether. This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Bluepoint Games. We are currently looking for a Senior Level Designer in the United States.. We are seeking a Senior Level Designer to create compelling, engaging gameplay environments from concept to final implementation. In this role, you will collaborate closely with environment artists, combat designers, and other key stakeholders while also driving your own design initiatives. You will develop 2D and 3D content, establish metrics to guide level development, and script key interactions and puzzles. This position offers the opportunity to influence the design of a major title while contributing to team processes and mentoring junior designers in a dynamic, creative, and highly collaborative environment.. . Accountabilities. ·         Propose and develop level content through 2D maps, diagrams, and written documentation.. ·         Design, implement, and refine engaging 3D spaces that enhance gameplay mechanics.. ·         Establish and maintain systems and core metrics to guide content creation and player experience.. ·         Script and tune events, interactions, encounters, puzzles, and collision for seamless gameplay.. ·         Collaborate with code and art teams to achieve a cohesive synergy between visual and gameplay elements.. ·         Analyze game design trends and apply new mechanics to enhance current projects.. . ·         Minimum of 5 years of professional level design experience with at least one shipped title (excluding academic projects).. ·         Proficiency in GUI-based logic-scripting tools and industry-standard software such as Maya.. ·         Solid understanding of designing environments that align with the game’s vision and player experience goals.. ·         Strong communication skills with the ability to convey abstract concepts clearly to cross-functional teams.. ·         Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing independent tasks while collaborating effectively.. ·         Additional assets: skills in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, solid knowledge of game workflows/pipelines, awareness of emerging game design trends, willingness to learn new technologies, and desire to mentor junior team members..
