We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in building and scaling a high-performance AI-native platform. In this role, you will contribute to core systems across compliance, data, and payments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement impactful technical solutions. You will own complex projects from conception to deployment, mentor junior engineers, and help shape the technical roadmap of the platform. Accountabilities. . Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for compliance, data, and payment systems. . Collaborate with Product, Design, Sales, and Compliance teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. . Take ownership of projects from technical design to deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. . Ensure code quality, reliability, and security through best practices in testing, CI/CD, and monitoring. . Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. . Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to shaping the long-term technical vision. . Stay up-to-date with industry trends in fintech, compliance, and distributed systems to innovate solutions. . . 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in fast-paced startup environments. . Strong programming skills with TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, React, or similar technologies. . Solid understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, and API design. . Experience with relational databases and data modeling. . Proven ability to deliver production-grade systems in fintech, SaaS, or regulated environments. . Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to turn ambiguous requirements into concrete solutions. . Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders. . Preferred: experience in fintech, investment banking, compliance-driven systems, financial infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), security best practices, and mentoring engineers. . .
