Software Development Engineer - Front-End at Weekday AI. This role is for one of the Weekday's clients. JobType: full-time. We are looking for an experienced . Senior Software Development Engineer – Front-End. to join our engineering team and lead the development of high-performance, scalable, and visually engaging web applications. In this role, you will architect front-end solutions, drive best practices, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers while collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver seamless, user-centric experiences using modern JavaScript frameworks and Tailwind CSS.. Key Responsibilities. . Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-performing front-end applications. . . Champion best practices in code quality, UI/UX design, testing, and performance optimization. . . Translate complex business requirements into robust technical architecture and reusable components. . . Build and optimize front-end applications using . React.js (preferred) or Angular with Tailwind CSS. . . . Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible UIs. . . Own end-to-end delivery of critical features/modules, ensuring timely, high-quality releases. . . Conduct in-depth code reviews, provide architectural direction, and mentor SDE-1/2 engineers. . . Ensure seamless integration of front-end applications with APIs and backend services. . . Evaluate and introduce new frameworks, tools, and technologies to boost productivity and quality. . . Qualifications & Skill Set. . Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. . . . 5+ years of professional experience. in front-end development. . . Expert-level proficiency in . JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3. . . . Strong expertise in . React.js. and state management libraries (e.g., Redux). . . Hands-on experience with . Tailwind CSS. and component-driven UI development. . . Solid understanding of . design systems, UI/UX principles, accessibility, and responsive design. . . . Experience with . CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Agile methodologies. . . . Familiarity with . performance optimization. techniques and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel). . . Exposure to server-side technologies such as . Node.js, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. preferred. . . Experience with . GIS applications or Map Server projects. is an added advantage. . . Good to Have. . Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (. AWS, GCP, Azure. ). . . Familiarity with . micro-frontends. and large-scale distributed front-end architectures. . . Knowledge of .
