We are seeking an experienced software engineer to drive the development of advanced routing and navigation services. In this role, you will design, implement, and operate high-performance systems that power real-time guidance for a diverse set of customers, including automotive OEMs and niche clients. You will work on solving complex routing challenges, building scalable, low-latency services, and developing tools that enable creative navigation solutions. Design, develop, and maintain high-volume, low-latency backend services for routing and navigation.. . Solve complex guidance scenarios and provide highly customizable routing solutions for diverse customer needs.. . Build tools and frameworks that empower other engineers to create innovative navigation experiences.. . Operate and optimize distributed systems with a focus on reliability, fault tolerance, and scalability.. . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering best practices and service quality.. . Use experiments and data analysis to drive improvements in performance, reliability, and user experience.. . . 5+ years of experience developing scalable, high-performance backend systems.. . Strong experience with modern C++ and Linux server applications, or equivalent expertise in Go, Rust, or JVM-based systems.. . Solid understanding of operating systems, distributed systems, fault tolerance, and service discovery.. . Proven problem-solving skills with a data-driven, experimental approach to engineering challenges.. . Ability to work across the full technology stack and adapt to new technical areas.. .
