Accountabilities:. . Lead, mentor, and support the development of a team of accountants and an Accounts Payable Specialist.. . Drive the timely and accurate completion of the monthly close process, including reviewing journal entries and reconciliations (cash, fixed assets, intercompany, accruals, etc.).. . Conduct financial reviews and variance analysis to provide actionable insights for decision-making.. . Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit readiness throughout all accounting functions.. . Oversee the preparation of financial data for quarterly and annual reports; act as the primary contact for internal and external auditors.. . Spearhead accounting process improvements, including co-leading the implementation of automation tools (e.g., Coupa).. . Identify and implement strategies to increase the scalability, accuracy, and efficiency of financial operations.. . . . Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.. . CPA certification is required.. . Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience preparing/reviewing full financial statements.. . Proven ability to manage a structured, deadline-driven month-end close process.. . Skilled in journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and audit support.. . Experience with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) and AP automation tools (such as Coupa).. . Advanced Excel proficiency and strong analytical skills.. . Clear and confident communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.. .
