Draft and coordinate responses to Congressional inquiries related to personnel and staffing issues.. . Support team responses to Freedom of Information Act requests, Congressional Inquiries, and Government Accountability Office Audits, amongst other external engagement. This can range from leading the drafting to advising management on response, depending on the level of sensitivity of the request.. . Lead communications with former USAID staff, including managing inquiries and developing engagement strategies.. . Coordinating standard responses to common inquiries across HR messaging platforms.. . Leading the team answering simple inquiries and directing more complex questions to the appropriate team for resolution. . . Maintain an organized system for tracking and responding to external inquiries and internal communications requests.. . Provide strategic advice to the Senior Advisor for External Relations and HR leadership on messaging and communication planning.. . Coordinate with Agency public affairs, Congressional liaison offices, and other relevant teams to ensure consistency and compliance in messaging.. . Evaluate the effectiveness of communications efforts using data analytics, surveys, and stakeholder feedback.. . Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for HR communication and customer experience activities.. . Provide writing, editing, and formatting support for memos, presentations, reports, and knowledge products.. Location:. Remote, must be willing and able to be on-site in VA on a regular basis. . Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred. . . Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in communications, human resources, or customer experience roles.. . Experience responding to high-level external inquiries such as from Congress, watchdog agencies, or press offices.. . Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and client-focused service delivery.. . Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write clearly for multiple audiences.. . Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.. . High emotional intelligence and tact in handling sensitive information and inquiries.. . Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a virtual environment.. . Clearance Requirement:.
