We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a fully remote team supporting cloud-based environments for complex, mission-critical applications. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure security best practices across development and operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, automate workflows, and integrate continuous security monitoring. Maintain and manage all AWS cloud PROD and non-PROD system environments.. . Design, develop, and manage CI/CD pipelines using open-source and commercial tools.. . Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.. . Integrate security practices throughout development and operations, including automated compliance checks.. . Conduct security reviews, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.. . Collaborate with teams to continuously improve DevOps processes and tooling.. . Execute Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices for automation and deployment workflows.. . Provide guidance on automation, compliance, and best practices for DevOps initiatives.. . . U.S. citizenship or lived in the U.S. for at least 3 of the last 5 years.. . Bachelor’s degree in IT or a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience).. . 5+ years of relevant IT experience, including 3–5 years in DevOps.. . Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins.. . Proficiency in containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.. . Knowledge of security tools and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).. . Ability to automate software compliance processes via scripting.. . Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools, including GitHub/GitLab.. . Proficiency in Linux operating systems and command-line operations.. . Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum processes, and supporting tools.. . Basic understanding of cloud networking and cloud-native tools.. . Excellent verbal and written communication skills.. . Ability to obtain Public Trust level clearance.. . Prior experience supporting government agencies, such as CMS, is a plus.. . .
