The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant coding of outpatient encounters to support proper billing, reimbursement, and documentation standards. This is a permanent work-from-home opportunity.. Key Responsibilities. . Assign accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for outpatient services in line with MedConverge guidelines.. . Utilize HST Pathways software for coding, documentation, and claim submission.. . Review clinical documentation to ensure coding reflects services provided and supports medical necessity.. . Collaborate with providers and billing teams to resolve coding discrepancies.. . Stay updated on payer-specific requirements, coding guidelines, and compliance standards.. . Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.. . . Minimum 2 years of outpatient medical coding experience.. . Specialty experience in MedConverge preferred.. . Proficiency in HST Pathways software required.. . Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems.. . Familiarity with payer policies, reimbursement processes, and compliance regulations.. . Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification preferred.. .
