Accountabilities. Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and real-time data pipelines for high-volume streaming workloads.. Develop frameworks and services to support engineering teams managing large-scale financial data and customer transactions.. Optimize the reliability, efficiency, and availability of streaming systems and data infrastructure.. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ML, analytics, and infrastructure engineering, to deliver end-to-end streaming solutions.. Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain production systems, ensuring high performance and minimal downtime.. Identify new use cases, design improvements, and implement solutions to meet evolving business and technical requirements.. . 8+ years of experience designing and building large-scale production backend systems.. Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or equivalent streaming platforms for high-volume event streaming.. Expertise with stream processing frameworks such as Spark, Flink, Samza, or Beam.. Solid programming skills in Python, Java, or Kotlin.. Experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and highly available architecture.. Familiarity with data platforms like Snowflake, Glue, Databricks, and tools like Kafka Connect or Schema Registry is a plus.. Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, CDC (Change Data Capture) tools, and table formats such as Apache Iceberg is advantageous..
