We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Golang to join a fast-growing, globally distributed engineering team. In this role, you’ll build and optimize the backend systems powering advanced data pipelines and large-scale distributed applications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust, scalable microservices while improving system efficiency and reliability. Accountabilities. Design, implement, and maintain core backend components and data pipelines supporting high-traffic distributed systems.. Collaborate with product managers, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver elegant and reliable solutions for complex technical challenges.. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and conduct code reviews to ensure overall code quality.. Contribute to architectural discussions, propose new features, and influence product direction through technical insight.. Continuously monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of backend systems.. Dedicate time to improving system health, refactoring legacy components, and reducing technical debt.. Participate in team planning sessions, providing feedback and identifying potential challenges early in the development cycle.. 6+ years of backend development experience with Go, Java, Rust, or Python, including at least 3 years of commercial Golang experience.. Proven experience building and maintaining distributed, high-load systems and large-scale data pipelines.. Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases; experience with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse is a plus.. Solid experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, and modern DevOps frameworks.. Strong analytical and optimization skills, with a focus on performance tuning and benchmarking.. Self-motivated, organized, and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic remote environment..
