Your role as an Asbestos Operative will involve covering a dedicated geographical area and providing support to our customers by resolving their asbestos issues. Key responsibilities include: . . Performing asbestos removal, encapsulation, and environmental cleaning within the Utilities Sector.. . Adhering strictly to the issued Plans of Work, current UK legislation, comprehensive specifications, and the DCUK FM Ltd Standard Operating Procedures and Health and Safety guidelines.. . Following directives from the Asbestos Removal Supervisor.. . Ensuring proper usage, maintenance, and care of all provided Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protective Equipment, and Asbestos Removal plant and equipment, immediately reporting any malfunctions or defects.. . 1+ years experience removing asbestos is advantageous. . Full UK Manual Driving Licence is preferred but is not essential. . Asbestos Awareness Training is preferred but not essential. . A can-do attitude, and the ability to use your own initiative. . Great communication and customer service skills with a keen, enthusiastic and friendly approach. . You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for. .
