We are seeking a Sr. Integration Engineer to lead and execute critical data integration initiatives within a cloud-native healthcare SaaS environment. This role is central to ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient integration of healthcare data across multiple systems and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize real-time interfaces, support data operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless technical solutions. Accountabilities. · Lead the design, development, and maintenance of real-time integrations between the platform and healthcare stakeholders, including health plans, providers, and TPAs. · Implement and support data interfaces for patient, provider, and clinical data integration. · Develop system integrations using MuleSoft ESB and other relevant integration tools (Mirthconnect, Boomi, etc.). · Write, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). · Configure and manage secure file transfers (SFTP) and automate routine operations using AWS CLI and PowerShell scripts. · Ensure healthcare data quality, governance, and compliance with applicable regulations. · Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing database environments. · Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and participate in on-call rotations. · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. · 7+ years of experience in healthcare data integration and backend data operations, including data quality and validation. · Strong expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, and query optimization. · Proficiency with MuleSoft Platform (ESB, CloudHub, API Management) or equivalent integration tools. · In-depth understanding of healthcare IT systems, operational workflows, and data standards (HL7, FHIR, EDI). · Experience with cloud-based solutions such as AWS RDS. · Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. · Preferred: MuleSoft Certified Developer/Architect, Agile/Scrum certification, AI integration experience in healthcare, familiarity with Risk Adjustment, HEDIS, or Quality Improvement domains.
