The SailPoint Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise identity and access management (IAM) solutions. This role focuses on SailPoint IdentityIQ, providing both technical and functional expertise to ensure robust, secure, and scalable IAM processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop features, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure compliance with enterprise standards and security policies. The position offers opportunities to work with cloud environments, implement DevSecOps practices, and contribute to both ongoing operational excellence and future IAM initiatives. The role balances hands-on technical work with strategic problem solving, enabling the organization to maintain secure and efficient access control for critical systems.. . Accountabilities:. Design, develop, test, and maintain SailPoint IdentityIQ and related IAM applications.. Integrate IAM solutions across enterprise systems and cloud environments (AWS or Azure).. Provide technical guidance, documentation, and training on IAM solutions and best practices.. Participate in SDLC processes, code reviews, and peer design reviews.. Analyze complex programming specifications and system issues, providing effective resolutions.. Conduct production support, coordinate end-to-end IAM operations, and recommend enhancements.. Ensure compliance with IAM policies, FICAM guidelines, Section 508, and security standards.. Collaborate with technical and business users to gather requirements and implement solutions.. . U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.. Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade IAM or cloud/web-based applications.. Expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ strategy, design, implementation, and operations.. Strong understanding of IAM principles and enterprise solution implementation.. Experience with multiple programming languages and technical troubleshooting.. Ability to maintain thorough documentation for IAM solutions, tools, and business processes.. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.. Familiarity with SDLC processes and willingness to learn new technologies.. Preferred Qualifications:. Knowledge of key IAM and FICAM policies/guidance, including NIST 800-63-3, OMB M-19-17, HSPD-12.. Experience with DevSecOps tools and cloud provider services..
