Senior Systems Administrator at Groundfloor. We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our remote team. This role will be responsible for supporting and extending our corporate IT systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across the company. The Senior Systems Administrator will focus on administering cloud-first infrastructure, delivering high-quality support to end users, and collaborating with the Director of IT to continuously improve our IT environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing modern IT platforms and resolving complex technical issues in a fast-paced, distributed work environment.. Manage and support IT systems: Administer and expand core platforms, including Jumpcloud, Google Workspace, and other SaaS and cloud-based systems.. . End-user support: Resolve IT issues through our Service Desk (Jira Service Desk), offering prompt, clear, and effective resolutions.. . Systems improvement: Collaborate with the IT team to streamline workflows, enhance automation, and minimize repetitive issues.. . Cloud-first focus: Ensure systems are configured for scalability, resilience, and security in a distributed workforce.. . Security collaboration: Support the implementation of security tools (such as SentinelOne EDR) and basic security practices, escalating and partnering with the Director of IT on larger security initiatives.. . Knowledge Sharing: Document solutions and train users to leverage our tools effectively.. . YOUR EXPERIENCE + A FEW NICE TO HAVES:. . Proven experience administering IT platforms such as Jumpcloud, Google Workspace, and endpoint management/security tools.. . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across operating systems, SaaS platforms, and networks.. . Experience supporting distributed/remote teams.. . Ability to communicate technical information in a clear, approachable way.. . Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plus.. . Awareness of compliance or security frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, NIST, ISO) is a nice-to-have, but not the primary focus.. . Company Location: United States.
