In this role, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns, conducting research, and assisting with tax planning strategies to ensure compliance and optimize tax outcomes.. Key Responsibilities:. . . Tax Preparation:. Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and corporations, ensuring compliance with all regulations and deadlines.. . . Tax Planning:. Assist in developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize benefits for clients, with a focus on proactive planning.. . . Research:. Conduct tax research and analysis to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, providing insights on how they impact clients.. . . Client Communication:. Liaise with clients to gather necessary documentation, explain tax strategies, and provide updates on tax-related matters.. . . Collaboration:. Work closely with other finance professionals to coordinate tax services and ensure alignment with overall financial planning efforts.. . . Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.. . 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation, public accounting, or tax compliance.. . Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and laws.. . Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.. . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.. . Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts understandably.. . Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.. . Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.. .
