Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) at Protera. We’re seeking an experienced . Oracle DBA. to support a client’s . non-production Exadata environment. . This role will focus on . Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters). and assist with . Exadata setup and configuration. . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and high-availability architecture.. Key Responsibilities. . Assist with the setup and configuration of Oracle Exadata in non-production environments.. . Manage and maintain Oracle RAC clusters.. . Perform database installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations.. . Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.. . Ensure database security, integrity, and availability.. . Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to support development and testing environments.. . Document procedures and configurations for future reference.. . Required Skills & Experience. . 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.. . Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC in enterprise environments.. . Experience with Exadata setup and administration.. . Strong knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c architecture.. . Proficiency in backup/recovery strategies and tools (RMAN, Data Guard).. . Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.. . Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.. . Preferred Qualifications. . Experience working in non-prod environments supporting development/test teams.. .
