We are currently looking for a Lead Integration Architect in the United States.. This role offers an opportunity to lead the design and implementation of robust, secure, and scalable API integrations connecting core services with external partners. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor development teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that support a cloud-first, API-driven platform. Working in a dynamic environment, you will collaborate closely with product, solution, and partner teams to solve complex integration challenges, optimize performance, and implement best practices in API design and security. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of critical systems, helping to shape the future of digital insurance solutions.. . Accountabilities. . Lead the architecture, design, and development of third-party API integrations, covering authentication, data mapping, error handling, and performance optimization.. . Develop and maintain .NET-based integration components using C#.. . Define and enforce API standards, including RESTful conventions, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and versioning strategies.. . Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, and partner engineering teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.. . Implement robust security measures, such as OAuth2, JWT, certificate-based authentication, and encryption in transit and at rest.. . Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and provide hands-on mentoring to maintain high code quality and adherence to architectural principles.. . Troubleshoot complex integration issues using logging, tracing, and monitoring tools.. . Document integration patterns, message flows, interface contracts, and operational runbooks.. . Evaluate new technologies and integration patterns to improve reliability, scalability, and developer productivity.. . . 7+ years of experience as a software developer, primarily using C#.. . Proven experience designing and building high-throughput, secure, and maintainable APIs.. . Strong understanding of RESTful design principles, OpenAPI, JSON, XML, and related serialization technologies.. . Hands-on experience with API security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, mutual TLS) and threat mitigation techniques.. . Knowledge of common integration patterns such as request/response, publish/subscribe, event-driven, and batch processing.. . Solid background in relational and NoSQL databases, as well as caching mechanisms.. . Experience creating CI/CD pipelines and supporting Infrastructure as Code (IaC).. . Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze performance bottlenecks using profiling and logging tools.. . Outstanding communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.. . Preferred Qualifications:. . Experience integrating with major third-party platforms.. . Background in microservices architecture, including Docker containers and orchestration platforms.. . Familiarity with cloud-native integration services on Azure.. . Knowledge of message broker systems, streaming architectures, distributed tracing, and observability best practices.. .
