Design single phase and three-phase pole and pad-mount distribution transformers according to customer and industry specifications (IEEE, ANSI, DOE, CSA). . Prepare drawings, data schedules, nameplate details, and bills of materials for customer approval and manufacturing release. . Review designs and winding specifications to ensure compliance with design rules and standards. . Perform fuse coordination as required. . Recommend material substitutions when necessary to optimize design. . Provide shop support to resolve manufacturing issues. . Assist Quality Control (QC) in diagnosing electrical failures during testing. . Support sales and marketing with technical documentation and drawings for bids and proposals. .  . . Education and Qualifications . Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 7+ years of experience (with Electrical Engineering degree) . Expertise in single and three-phase pole-mount and pad-mount distribution transformers, 167kVA and above required. Transformer coil design and protection for medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) applications. . Basic electrical testing of transformer coils and assemblies. . Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidEdge. . Experience with ERP systems (e.g., INFOR). . Competencies: . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. . Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality. . Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams. . Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Company Location: United States.
