Design and implement key kernel features of TiKV to boost performance, reliability, and scalability.. . Optimize low-level data structures, algorithms, and concurrency controls to improve system throughput and latency.. . Lead and contribute to enhancing TiKV’s backup and restore functionalities, including efficient snapshotting and point-in-time recovery (PITR).. . Diagnose and resolve critical customer issues related to performance and stability in cloud deployments.. . Collaborate with the open-source community, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to best development practices.. . Document technical decisions and implementation strategies through specifications and in-code documentation.. .
