As our Audio & Story Editor, you’ll take raw long-form interviews and help shape them into polished, documentary-style case-study podcast episodes and audiobooks that blend emotional storytelling with deep strategic insight. This is a hybrid role that blends strong writing with audio editing skills to bring clarity, structure, and storytelling depth to conversations with founders of high-growth companies.. You’ll collaborate closely with our in-house Producer and Show Host, who will guide the creative direction and shape the core story arc of each episode. Under that direction, you’ll implement the vision by crafting first-draft narration scripts that connect ideas, bridge soundbites, and guide the listener through the story. These stories are built to illustrate the Scaling Framework taught in . The Science of Scaling. —our science-backed methodology for teaching entrepreneurs to scale rapidly. You’ll also edit interviews for clarity and pacing, and add thoughtful music or sound design to elevate the listening experience. The resulting 15–30 minute episodes will educate and engage an exclusive community of founders and CEOs from the fastest-growing companies in the world—and will also be repurposed into audiobook chapters published through Strategic Psychology Press, extending the reach and impact of each piece of content you touch.. This role requires sharp editorial instincts, excellent writing, strong audio editing skills, and the intellectual depth to translate complex business strategies into engaging narratives. What You’ll Do. . Edit interviews into polished 15–30 minute podcast episodes. . Draft scripts from long-form interviews, crafting narrative arcs that teach through story. . Add music, sound effects, and atmospheric elements in a thoughtful, documentary-style fashion. . Master audio to meet professional standards across podcast and audiobook platforms. . Analyze transcripts to extract insights, story structure, and key teaching moments. . Repurpose podcast content into audiobooks with Strategic Psychology Press. . Collaborate in real-time using Descript for quick hand-offs and review. . Maintain organized audio libraries and meet consistent weekly production deadlines. . Manage project files and maintain efficient workflows. . Internalize and translate The Scaling Framework into compelling educational content. . . Requirements (Non-Negotiable). . To be considered, applicants must include a link to their portfolio or audio samples demonstrating editing and storytelling skills.. . Multiple years of experience in podcast or audiobook production. . Strong audio editing skills using professional DAWs. . Comfort using AI-enabled, cloud-based editing platforms like Descript (or similar). . Exceptional ability to write narrative scripts and educational content from interviews. . Experience with story structure, pacing, and sound design. . Ability to manage projects independently while collaborating across teams. . U.S.-based and authorized to work without sponsorship. .
