This role is critical to maintaining high-performance database operations across both on-prem and cloud-hosted environments.. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in SQL Server performance tuning, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex bottlenecks. You'll be working with advanced monitoring tools and collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable across a massive SQL Server landscape.. Location:. The Ideal Candidate Has:. . BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of experience in SQL Server performance engineering. . . Expertise in SQL Server 2022 or recent versions. . . Extensive experience in query optimization, index tuning, and stored procedure performance. . . Hands-on experience with performance monitoring tools such as SQL Profiler, Extended Events, Performance Monitor, or custom dashboards. . . Experience working in large-scale, multi-instance environments. . . Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for diagnosing bottlenecks and performance issues. . . Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and client stakeholders. . . Excellent communication skills in English (C1 preferred, strong B2 may be considered). . . Key Responsibilities:. . Analyze and optimize SQL Server 2022 performance across on-prem and cloud-hosted systems. . . Tune queries, indexes, and stored procedures to maximize efficiency. . . Utilize custom-built dashboards and monitoring tools to identify performance issues. . . Troubleshoot complex performance bottlenecks and propose scalable solutions. . . Provide strategic input on whether performance fixes should be rolled out across all instances. . .
