As a Senior GL Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations. You will play a key role in the month-end and year-end close processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and high-quality financial reporting. . YOU WILL. . Handling General Ledger processes. . Supporting all aspects of GL monthly/quarterly/annual close activities. . Leveraging strong relationships with other finance and non-finance teams, as well as external providers, to maintain and update shared processes, tools, and reporting activities. . Ensure adherence of processes to company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations. . Supporting strengthening of financial processes and controls. . Supporting local, regional, and global projects, as required. . Be an activate advocate of finance function. . Maintain focus on continuous process improvement. . . Bachelor’s / master’s degree in finance / accounting. . Professional accounting qualification (ACCA / CIMA / CPA / ACA / CMA). . Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). . Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel (reporting, data analysis, etc.). . Experienced in working in an international environment. . Experienced in working in the SSC / BSC. . Ability to solve problems and propose improvements. . Customer service skills. . Ability to work as a part of a team. . Disciplined and well organized - able to meet deadlines. . Ready to work in a dynamically developing organization. . Due to regional scope, an ability and willingness to travel internationally might be required, and at a critical time (e.g., month-end) additional hours may be necessary (also, and on an exceptional basis, the role may require work on public holidays). . Fluent in spoken and written English. . Nice to have: fluent in spoken and written Bulgarian. . Company Location: Poland.
