
Lead Project Manager at Ascera. Own The Role: . SP6 is looking for a Lead Project Manager who has previously worked for a 3rd party customer-facing, software product development, or IT services company. We are looking for this individual to take their previous knowledge and be a relied-upon resource to SP6’s Fortune 2000 customers!. As a Project Manager at SP6, you will be responsible for working with SP6 engineers, external customers, and other internal team members to help drive successful customer engagements. This is a diverse role that will include new client onboarding, project oversight, internal and external communication, and continued process improvement!. How You’ll Drive Success: . Project Management. . Use your experience in technical project management and customer-facing positions to plan, coordinate, track, and manage project(s) to successful completion.. . Facilitation of cross-functional team projects with 3rd party customers. Including meeting coordination with stakeholders as well as tasks, accountability, and deadline tracking.. . You will work directly with resource managers, technical staff, sales, and business subject matter experts to orchestrate project delivery to ensure projects are delivered and executed in alignment with the overall project plan.. . Schedule new customer kick-offs to ensure project prerequisites are met and deliverables are confirmed. . . Drive successful customer outcomes and customer satisfaction.. . Identify, track, monitor, manage, and communicate project-related tasks, risks, issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that may arise during project/program implementation to relevant stakeholders.. . Manage project process through review of Daily Status Reports and the Services Case Management System. . . Engage with Sales and Account teams on new opportunities.. . Provide weekly and monthly reporting on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to customers and internal leadership. . . Drive continuous improvement of project processes – methodology, templates, best practices etc. based on lessons learned from projects.. . Direct and monitor work efforts daily, identify resource needs, perform quality reviews, and escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately.. . Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the entire SP6 service line.. . Ad-hoc and unplanned task management and prioritization, documentation & trade-off management. . Team Leadership. . Act as a coach/mentor/first-line point-of-contact to staff that need assistance with training or work, when less experienced staff may require such assistance.. . Take action when customers go sideways and require senior involvement.. . Supervise and mentor a team of project managers and project coordinators.. . Perform monthly 1x1’s with assigned staff.. . Provide input into annual staff performance reviews/assessments for assigned staff.. . Provide active input to team collaboration and questions (i.e., on Slack).. . Facilitate collaboration between SP6 engineers, external customers, and other internal team members. . . To Be Successful:. . 3+ years of delivering projects to a 3rd party customer.. . 2+ years in a product/services IT Company.. . 1+ years in a lead role or similar. . . Strong adaptability and critical thinking skills in the face of technical, organizational, and interpersonal challenges.. . Knowledge of/comfort in- working in both waterfall and agile approaches. . . Experience working with leadership at Enterprise companies. . . Experience with a project management/project portfolio tool. . . Proven ability to solve problems creatively and think outside the box. . Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle and delivering successful results.. . Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.. . Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.. . SIEM knowledge is preferred. (Splunk is even better!) . . Company Location: United States.
