This role is crucial to our operations, with a strong focus on creating accurate and competitive quotes for commercial and residential demolition projects. About 70% of your time will be spent on estimating, and the remaining 30% on administrative and costing tasks.. Key Responsibilities:. . Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for commercial and residential demolition projects. . Review project specifications, blueprints, and related documents to determine project requirements. . Input and manage estimates in spreadsheets or estimating software. . Collaborate with the operations team to align on scopes, timelines, and pricing. . Perform takeoffs and calculate materials, labor, and equipment costs. . Assist with cost tracking and budget updates for active projects. . Support administrative tasks related to costing, bid submissions, and vendor coordination. . Keep estimate records and update pricing databases as needed. . . . Proven experience as an estimator in demolition, construction, or related field. . Solid understanding of commercial, residential, demolition processes. . Proficiency with spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel) and estimating tools. . Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numbers. . Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications. .
