We are seeking. an experienced Code Generation Annotator / Data Labeler with strong programming expertise and familiarity with modern AI coding assistants.. This role involves testing and evaluating AI coding tools to assess performance, usability, and overall developer experience.. You’ll be working autonomously, comparing the client’s internal coding assistant with leading tools such as Cursor AI, Claude Code, and Windsurf, and providing detailed feedback to improve their product.. Commitments Required : 20-40 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST. . Start date is ASAP.. What does day-to-day look like?. Evaluate and compare AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor AI, Claude Code, Windsurf) through hands-on testing.. Annotate and label AI-generated code outputs for correctness, clarity, and efficiency.. Identify tool limitations and propose improvements for better developer experience.. Produce clear, structured feedback and reports on findings.. Collaborate asynchronously with the research team to share insights and results.. Work independently with minimal guidance.. Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Rust, JavaScript, or Node.js.. Experience using AI code generation tools (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Copilot, etc.).. Strong understanding of back-end or full-stack development principles.. Excellent analytical and written communication skills.. Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced research environment.. Company Location: Romania.
