We are currently looking for a Developer Advocate in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.. We are seeking a Developer Advocate to serve as a bridge between software developers and the product team, helping developers get the most out of a leading time series platform. In this role, you will create technical content, build demos, deliver talks, and engage with the community online and in-person. You will translate complex technical concepts into accessible guidance, advocate for developer needs internally, and foster a thriving ecosystem around the platform. This position offers a mix of technical creation, community engagement, and strategic influence, providing the opportunity to impact thousands of users worldwide. You will work remotely in a collaborative, globally distributed team environment.. Accountabilities. . Build and deliver technical content, demos, and code samples that showcase platform capabilities.. . Conduct workshops, webinars, and presentations at conferences, meetups, and online events.. . Engage with developer communities through forums, Slack, social media, and direct interactions.. . Advocate for developer needs internally by collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.. . Support developers during onboarding and troubleshooting by providing guidance, sample code, and technical resources.. . Establish and maintain relationships with other technical communities and open-source projects.. . . 2+ years of experience supporting developers, open source projects, platforms, or technical communities.. . Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with experience at conferences, meetups, or online events.. . Proven ability to create technology demonstrations, sample applications, and technical content.. . Solid understanding of software development practices and ability to quickly learn new technologies and languages.. . Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment while collaborating across teams.. . Bonus: Experience delivering technical training, contributing to open-source projects, or knowledge of IoT/Edge technologies.. . Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java is a plus.. . Company Location: United States.
