Patient Scheduling Coordinator. to support a U.S.-based home care provider by matching caregivers to clients based on their needs. This role is fast-paced and requires someone who can juggle multiple systems, communicate clearly, and take ownership of getting schedules filled efficiently.. This role forms part of a collaborative and team-driven environment where individuals are expected to step in, assist, and ensure that all scheduling needs are met.. PLEASE NOTE. Working Hours:.  Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST (14:30 PM – 23:00 PM South African time – subject to daylight savings).. Public Holidays:.  This role requires working on both South African and U.S. public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA).. Internet Requirements:.  A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and wired Ethernet capability is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.. Power Backup:.  Reliable backup required to manage load shedding or outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.. Work Environment:.  Fully remote. Key Responsibilities:. Schedule caregivers for clients based on specific needs and requirements . Engage with clients to understand their care needs and preferences . Coordinate across multiple communication channels (calls, WhatsApp, internal systems) . Manage and update scheduling systems accurately and in real-time . Handle scheduling challenges and last-minute changes with urgency . Collaborate with team members to ensure all shifts are filled . Escalate issues or request support when needed. Requirements:. Strong . customer service experience. . Ability to . multitask across multiple systems simultaneously. . Excellent . verbal and written communication skills (English). . Comfortable working in a . fast-paced, high-pressure environment. . Strong sense of accountability and willingness to step in where needed . Highly organized with strong attention to detail . Advantageous (not required):. Experience working in a medical practice, doctor’s office, or healthcare environment . Background in appointment scheduling, theatre bookings, or practice coordination .
