In this role, you’ll own the day-to-day financial operations and play a key role in supporting forecasting, reconciliation, and cash management activities.. Accountability. As an Accountant, your success will be defined by your ability to manage financial operations with accuracy, timeliness, and reliability. This is a role that combines transactional ownership with broader visibility into cash flow and forecasting, ideal for someone who thrives on structure and is energized by working in evolving business environments. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:. Core Accounting Operations. . Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).. . Issue, track, and reconcile invoices and payments.. . Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.. . Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial data accuracy.. . Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures.. . Prepare and update monthly P&L statements.. . Accrue expenses and ensure appropriate period-based entries.. . . Cash Flow & Forecasting. . Assist in maintaining and updating financial forecasting models.. . Support cash flow planning and collaborate with leadership to align forecasts with business needs.. . Systems & Automation. . Operate within existing accounting systems and automation workflows.. . Coordinate with part-time automation specialists to improve operational efficiency.. . Communication & Coordination. . Experience:. 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a transactional or full-cycle role. . . Tools Proficiency:. Strong familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Excel/Google Sheets, and tools like Ramp or Xero. . . Reconciliation:. Experience handling AP/AR, monthly closes, and bank/card reconciliations. . .
