I’m Nick, Co-Founder/CTO at Jersey Watch. I'm looking for an experienced and passionate product designer to work directly with me. We build a product-led, web-based SaaS application for youth sports organizations (websites, online registration, payments, communication, scheduling, and more). Take short product briefs and turn them into end-to-end designs: user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI in Figma. Define interaction behavior and edge cases (loading/empty/error states, validations, permissions, responsive behavior). Produce developer-ready specs and support engineering through implementation (fast clarifications, iteration). Build on our existing Figma library and UI patterns; you’ll also have access to a part-time UI designer for periodic polish/review. Recommend analytics instrumentation (PostHog events/properties) and success metrics for new features. Collaborate with the team to improve onboarding, core workflows, and overall product quality. US-based with the ability to work 9AM to 5PM. 3+ years product design experience shipping web and mobile products. Strong UX skills for complex workflows (B2B SaaS/admin tools, forms, tables, settings, onboarding). Solid UI execution in Figma (clean, consistent, system-driven); comfortable working with an existing design library. Proven ability to work closely with developers and deliver implementation-ready detail. Clear written communication (you can document decisions and explain tradeoffs). Wants to work on a small, remote team. Wants to make an impact on local communities. Portfolio/references required. Nice to have:. Experience with PLG/onboarding and activation flows. Experience defining analytics/instrumentation (PostHog/GA4). Experience creating or extending a design system/component library. Experience working full-time on small, remote teams.
