You will manage end-to-end modernization projects, including transitioning applications from legacy AIX environments to Linux and migrating middleware from WebSphere Application Server to JBoss Web Server. The position requires close collaboration with infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams to ensure high performance, compliance, and operational reliability. Lead the full migration of applications from AIX to Linux environments, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.. Plan and execute the transition of middleware from WebSphere Application Server to JBoss Web Server.. Conduct application dependency analysis, refactor configuration files, startup scripts, and deployment artifacts.. Perform performance tuning, load testing, and regression testing post-migration.. Configure SSL/TLS, audit logging, and permissions management across environments.. Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams to maintain compliance, reliability, and operational efficiency.. Develop detailed migration documentation, runbooks, and post-mortem reports.. Identify opportunities for automation using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, or Terraform.. 5+ years of hands-on experience in AIX/Linux system administration and middleware management..
