As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of complex mobile and web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, execute automated and manual testing, and troubleshoot issues from development through production deployment. Accountabilities. In this role, you will:. . Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for mobile and web applications.. . Conduct manual, functional, integration, regression, and automation testing to ensure software quality.. . Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium, Selenium, Python, and BDD/TDD frameworks.. . Execute test scripts across Android and iOS emulators, simulators, and cloud platforms like SauceLabs or BrowserStack.. . Collaborate with development and business teams to identify risks, troubleshoot defects, and perform root cause analysis.. . Lead bug triage sessions, provide detailed defect reports, and track resolution progress.. . Ensure requirements traceability and contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices and processes.. . . To succeed in this role, you should bring:. . 4–8 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, preferably with retail or insurance domain projects.. . Strong experience with mobile application testing (iOS and Android) and web applications.. . Proficiency in Appium, Python, Selenium, RestAssured, Robot, and BDD/TDD frameworks.. . Solid understanding of web services, APIs, GraphQL, and microservices testing.. . Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git, GitLab, GitHub), and test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, HP ALM).. . Knowledge of databases such as SQL and Oracle.. . Hands-on experience with Agile development practices and tools like Jira.. . Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.. .
