UI/UX Design Lead at Clay. Remote – Full-Time. Clay. is a global design agency building world-class digital products and brands. Our diverse team is located in different parts of the world, but the main locations are Europe and the USA. . We are looking for a . UI/UX Design Lead. to join us remotely or in our office in Serbia and help drive design excellence across projects. This role is perfect for a strong designer who not only creates outstanding user experiences but also thrives on mentoring others, improving processes, and ensuring top-quality delivery for our clients.. What you’ll do. . Lead projects from research and discovery to final delivery, ensuring client-ready results;. . Review and refine team work, provide constructive feedback, and step in with hands-on support when needed; . . Mentor and guide UI/UX Designers, helping them grow and maintaining high design standards;. . Take responsibility for client updates – from final design checks to organizing presentation materials;. . Improve workflows, optimize design processes, and keep project files and documentation organized;. . Validate design estimates and communicate priorities early to support effective project planning;. . Oversee design system creation and implementation, ensuring consistency across projects;. . Foster a collaborative design culture through guidelines, workshops, and knowledge sharing.. . . You have 5+ years of digital design experience, including at least 2+ years in a leadership role within an agency or product team; . . You combine strong hands-on UI/UX skills with the ability to guide, mentor, and inspire designers; . . You thrive on solving complex UX challenges and aligning design decisions with business strategy and user needs; . . You have experience leading projects from research to delivery, ensuring quality and consistency at every stage; . . You are confident in conducting design reviews, giving constructive feedback, and setting clear quality standards; . . You know how to build and manage design systems, ensuring scalability and consistency across products; . . You are skilled in design operations: organizing workflows, structuring files, preparing documentation, and optimizing collaboration; . . You can collaborate effectively with PMs, developers, ensuring smooth delivery and implementation of design work; . . You are comfortable taking responsibility for client-facing deliverables and presentations, ensuring everything is polished and clear; . . You possess strong written English skills, fluency in spoken English is preferred; . . Your timezone is within a 2-hour range of CET.. . Company Location: Serbia.
