We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer with a passion for creating foundational systems and tools to support game development. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain both in-engine and external tools that enable content creators and development teams to work efficiently. You will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and artists to solve complex technical challenges and optimize workflows. This position offers the opportunity to influence the technical backbone of next-generation games while maintaining high standards for performance, maintainability, and code quality. Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and effective communication are essential for success.. . Accountabilities. Design and develop systems that support diverse game features.. Build and maintain tools inside and outside the Unreal Editor for content creation.. Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability across systems and tools.. Resolve complex technical issues and optimize Unreal Engine-related workflows.. Identify, flag, and address problematic changes or issues promptly.. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate ideas into practical solutions.. Mentor and support team members to foster knowledge sharing and innovation.. . 3+ years of engineering experience using Unreal Engine.. Strong proficiency in C++ programming, debugging, and performance optimization.. Broad knowledge of Unreal Engine internals, multi-threading, and templates.. Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.. Strong problem-solving abilities and self-motivation.. Comfortable translating conceptual ideas into working tools and systems..
